Population                                                     Elizabethtown's population is approximately 24,000. Hardin County, the 4th largest county in Kentucky, has a population of a little over 96,000.

Minimum drinking age is 21.  Package sales available seven days a week.  Alcoholic beverages may be sold by the drink in licensed restaurants that seat at least 100.  Restaurants may serve alcohol seven days a week.

Smoking is not allowed inside public buildings, including restaurants within the city of Elizabethtown.
