Hey there, friends! As soon as the leaves turn those beautiful shades of red and gold, I’ve got my eye on everything spooky. Elizabethtown comes alive this time of year, and let me tell you, the spooky season here is one of my absolute favorites. Whether you’re a fan of haunted houses, ghost tours, or just cozying up with a good story by a fire, Elizabethtown has something for everyone. Grab a pumpkin-spiced something, and let’s explore the spooky events happening here in town!

Haunting Ghost Walk: Elizabethtown's History Comes to Life

I’ve always loved Elizabethtown’s rich history, and when the spooky season rolls around, it gets even better. The ghost walk in Etown’s historic downtown will send shivers right up your spine. Don't miss two chances to hear the famous ghost stories on the Ghost Walk happening on October 25th AND 26th! The tours will meet in Walker's Square (right next to Denizen) and will run from 7PM - 10PM.

Pumpkin Patches in Elizabethtown: A Fall Favorite

There’s something about wandering through a pumpkin patch that screams fall, don’t you think? One of my favorite traditions in Elizabethtown is heading to the local pumpkin patches to pick the perfect pumpkins for carving, decorating, or baking (I love a good pumpkin pie).

The patches here offer more than pumpkins, too—think hayrides, corn mazes, and plenty of treats to enjoy while you breathe the crisp autumn air. If you want a day filled with family fun and photo ops, the pumpkin patches around Elizabethtown won’t disappoint.

Spooky Walk Through Hardin County History Museum

Alright, let’s get a little spookier, shall we? A great place to visit this time of year is the Spooky Walk through the Hardin County History Museum. This event is for you if you love a good ghost story wrapped in local history. Walking through the museum, you’ll hear tales of mysterious happenings, eerie figures, and the darker side of our local history. It's not just a haunted walk—it’s a chance to learn about our community in a fun and spooky way! Dare to experience history like never before on Oct. 26 from 7PM - 9PM.
