Tourism in Hardin County sees record year for economic impact
(Hardin County, KY) June 12, 2025: – Governor Andy Beshear recently announced a record-breaking $14.3 billion in statewide tourism economic impact for Kentucky in 2024, underscoring the vital role tourism plays in Kentucky’s economy. As part of that success, Hardin County saw a remarkable $370.7 million in visitor spending in 2024 — a 4% increase over the previous year.
Tourism continues to be a powerful economic driver in Hardin County, supporting 2,623 jobs, generating $29.7 million in state and local tax revenue, and contributing $76.4 million in labor income in 2024.
The Elizabethtown Tourism CVB and Radcliff/Fort Knox Tourism Commission are celebrating these strong results as a testament to the region’s diverse attractions, community pride, and continued investment in tourism infrastructure.
