If you are looking for vibes that feel like Lady and The Tramp come to life, you’ve got to check out Capri’s Italian Restaurant. This place is offering up delicious Italian food, right here in Elizabethtown! Incredible pasta, delicious desserts (try the tiramisu… just trust me) and the ultimate date night feel make this spot a must-stop for you and your valentine.
JR Neighbors is an Etown classic! They’re serving up delicious burgers with more an elevated vibe that will certify your Valentine’s Day as one of the best. While the burgers are a star in their own rite (trust me when I say the bison burger will change your life), they have other delicious offerings that may just make the food the highlight of your date.
What beats a classic coffee date? Not much! Head over to Yokefellow Coffee Roasters for delicious drinks, yummy sandwiches and baked goods, and awesome company! Here, you can grab a coffee and just spend time catching up with your loved one. Such a fun way to spend the morning. Another fun bonus? They grind all of their beans in house - talk about a fresh cup of coffee!
No good dinner date is complete without a little treat! The Dreamery is home to incredible gelatos and treats that’ll be the highlight of your night. At The Dreamery, they have rotating gelato flavors made with local ingredients (including milk from right here in KY!) We hear they also have a delicious cannoli that’ll absolutely knock your socks off… you need to check it out, trust me.
The Drinks
Once you’ve enjoyed your dinner, it’s time to grab a drink! There are so many bars in town, I can understand how you’d have trouble picking – that’s why I’m here!
The Straight and Narrow located downtown screams “date night.” The ambiance, the drinks, the company, it’s perfect for Valentine’s Day! The cocktails are incredible, they've got an espresso tequini that is just to die for! In addition to the drinks, it's got a killer vibe. There's a few different seating options in addition to the bar like a cozy living room, or you can hang in the main area. No matter where you choose, the drinks are good and the company is even better.
If you’re in the market for a classic bar feel, Bourbon Barrel Tavern (BBT to the locals) is your spot! This is a great stop to unwind and just hang out with your date. Plus, it’s right in the heart of downtown, so you’re close to all the action, it’s a win-win! For the bourbon lover, they've got over 500 kinds of bourbon... that's a lot of old fashioned's! BBT is also located in a historic building, how cool is that?
