Abraham Lincoln Birthplace Volunteer Training

Time: 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM

The Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park is holding volunteer orientation training days for those wishing to volunteer at the park's visitor center information desk.  Classes are limited to 8 prospective volunteers.  Those wishing to participate are asked to call the visitor center to make a reservation.  The class is free and spots will be reserved on a first come, first served basis.   

Training is scheduled for:
Friday, November 16 at 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Friday, December 14 at 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Prospective volunteers will learn about the National Park Service's history and about the history and formation of the park.  The training will include a tour of the park grounds and facilities.
