Here’s a little roundup of eight fantastic indoor attractions I know you will enjoy!

1. Axe Play

If you haven’t tried axe throwing yet, you’re missing out on a real treat. AXE PLAY is one of those places that instantly makes you feel like a total lumberjack, even if you’re just there for fun. Whether with a group or flying solo, this spot is perfect for a unique night out. It’s safe, thrilling, and memorable – three things I always look for in a great time.

2. Sky's the Limit

Who doesn’t love a good bounce? SKY'S THE LIMIT is Elizabethtown’s own indoor adventure park, offering way more than just trampolines. It’s the perfect spot for all ages, from toddlers to grandparents. You can test your skills on the ninja course, conquer the rock wall, or try your hand at a game of dodgeball. For the thrill-seekers, there’s also a zip line and an exciting climbing area. And if you prefer to sit back and relax, enjoy their massage chairs while watching the kids burn off energy and have a blast.

3. Xtreme Arcade

Alright, I have to admit, I’m a huge fan of arcade games, and XTREME ARCADE always delivers a fun and exciting experience. It’s got a little of everything—from the newest games to those nostalgic classics we all grew up playing. It’s a fantastic spot to show off your skills and rack tickets for pretty sweet prizes. I’m not saying I’m the best at air hockey, but… you’ll just have to see for yourself! And if you want to venture past the machines, there’s a fun mini golf course and mini bowling, too. So much fun all in one place, rain or shine!

5. The Hardin County Public Library

I love popping into the Hardin County Public Library for a quieter escape. It’s more than just a place to find a good book; they’ve got workshops, storytime for the little ones, and plenty of cozy corners for reading. There’s something so comforting about getting lost in a good story, and this library has all the right vibes. It’s a beautiful place to relax and recharge, especially on a rainy day.

5. Unlock Kentucky Escape Rooms

f you’ve got a knack for solving puzzles, you’ll get a kick from UNLOCK: Kentucky Escape Rooms. Each room has a unique theme and its own set of challenges to keep you guessing. It’s a fantastic way to bond with friends or family as you work together to beat the clock. It’s one of those places I could go to repeatedly just to test out all the different rooms. Who doesn’t love a good mystery?

6. Little Playland

Parents, this one’s for you! Little Playland is a beautiful place to bring the kiddos for some indoor fun. It’s safe, interactive, and full of activities that’ll keep them entertained for hours. And let’s be honest; sometimes, it’s nice to have a place where they can burn off some energy while you sit back and relax. Watch as they crawl, climb, and slide through the indoor playground, or let their imaginations run wild as they jump from station to station, pretending to be store clerks, chefs, mechanics, teachers, and more. There is also a designated tiny toddler area for really littles.

The Hardin County History Museum is a must-see for all you history buffs. I always learn something new every time I visit. The exhibits take you on a journey through our local history, and it’s such a treat to see how our town has evolved over the years. It’s a fantastic option for a rainy afternoon, even for out-of-town guests who want to get to know our roots.
