The holidays are here and there is truly nothing like spending a weekend creating new memories and traditions with your family. I’m here to give you a jam-packed itinerary to make the most out of your holiday weekend!
Friday
Friday night, you’re going to want to head downtown and grab a bite to eat! Downtown Elizabethtown is packed with options so everyone in your crew will be satisfied. If you want a one-stop shop of sorts, head over to Social Food Hall, where you’ll find a rotating selection of places, like wood-fired pizza, sushi, smash burgers & more! In addition to the food, you’ll find a full-service bar and a tap wall along with big TVs for game watching, arcade games and duckpin bowling. While you're here, head upstairs the the Overlook and find the Tipsy Elf! Every Friday and Saturday in December, there is a holiday pop-up bar with the cutest cocktails and coziest Christmas vibes. This place needs to be on your must-see list.
Next up, the Brown-Pusey House! The Cunningham Garden is lit up with a Christmas Village that will give you all the Hallmark vibes. Come and take photos, walk around and live your Christmas movie dreams. Downtown has such a fun holiday vibe with so many Christmas lights and festive decorations, you have plenty to do and see (seriously, I mean just check out this event line up). Once you've seen our lovely Downtown, you obviously have to finish the night with a treat, so you’re going to want to pop into Kuddy’s Sips and Sweets for a craft soda that will knock your socks off. They’ve got treats, holiday drinks and so much more! It’s an elite way to end the night.

Saturday
Saturday morning, we’re headed back Downtown! No Saturday is complete without coffee, and Vibe Coffee Shop is a local gem. I love to grab a holiday drink and some energy bites here, talk about a great way to start the day! Once you’ve fueled up; the next thing to do is obviously shop, right? Elizabethtown is home to so many cute boutiques and shops where you can stock up for everyone in your crew! I really mean everyone… from book lovers to record collectors to botanists to fashionistas… you get the point. After you have adequately shopped ‘til you dropped, you need to hit up another local restaurant to refuel. Locals love 2bThai, it is an Elizabethtown staple and has been here for years! The owners are so kind and provide wonderful recommendations, you can’t miss it.
Want a unique fun vibe for your afternoon? Eat & play at Cosmic Golf with great food and even better family-fun, even if you aren’t a golf pro. They’ve got indoor and outdoor fun, food, three bars (yes, I said three) and create such cool vibe anytime of the day. To add some more holiday cheer, you need to check out The State Theater for a Christmas movie! They show different movies each weekend and it is such a fun way to get ready for the season. To wrap up you of course have to visit Christmas In The Park. This is a completely free light show that has been around for over 30 years! Not to be biased, but it is one of my favorite parts of the season. It is just plain magical.

Sunday
Sadly, all good things must come to an end. But, I’m not leaving you out to dry! Before you head on your way, you obviously need brunch. Head to Toasted Yolk for the ultimate brunch vibes, complete with mimosas, Bloody Mary’s, donuts and delicious breakfast and brunch options. If you have to end your trip, this is the way to do it.

Whether your weekend is filled with adventure or you’re keeping it chill, make it happen in Elizabethtown! We would love to have you and can’t wait to see what you get into. Show us all your fun at #touretown, see ya soon!
