Fall is here and I am so excited to be sharing my itinerary for the coziest little weekend so you can channel your inner Gilmore Girls vibes and have the most fun and relaxing autumn weekend.
Check out the sights
Start off your weekend by taking a color drive and finding all of the beautiful foliage and fall décor around town. Local shops and historic buildings really know how to show out during all seasons, so there is beauty to be found all around town! The trees take on beautiful shades of yellows and red and it just makes for the most peaceful way to get the weekend going. After you've checked out all the natural beauty, head Downtown and see the local stores fully decked out with pumpkins & autumnal galore (and while you're at it, you might as well pick out a few things... I mean, you're already there, so). Grab a little PSL and get your jammies on and hit the road!
Hit up the bookstore
For all my book-tok fans, Birdwhistell Books will make all your dreams come true. Nothing screams “cozy” like curling up on the couch with a new read, and you’re going to hit the jackpot at this place. Find books from the classics to Kentucky books to new series to used books and get to reading! A cozy afternoon spent with a new story, what could top that?
Go see a movie
A cozy weekend is just begging to be accompanied by a movie at the State Theater! During the fall, you’ll find crowd favorites every weekend paired with concessions that will give you all the nostalgic vibes, making this the perfect addition to your weekend. Grab coffee & A Treat
In my book, no cozy weekend is complete without a little treat and a warm drink! I could give you a whole guide dedicated to all things fall treats (I’m basically an expert at the subject) but I'll star off small for now. Fall drinks at Vibe Coffee are essential for setting the vibe (you knew that was coming) and will take your cozy Etown weekend from good to great. They will also keep you stocked with baked goodies because you can’t have one without the other… I don’t make the rules!
