In Elizabethtown, every dog has their day! Etown has places where dogs can chill out, roam free, or just hang out on the patio. Grab the leash, get some treats & let's check out where we're bringing the dogs this week!

The Freeman Lake Dog Park

The Freeman Lake Dog Park is not a ruff way for your dog to spend the day (sorry not sorry for the dog puns... they have to happen, I don't make the rules)! There are areas for big dogs & small pups alike where your four-legged-friend can play the day away. With over 2 acres of fenced-in fun and access to water, disposable bags and benches, this is the perfect place for you and your pooch to run around, play fetch and meet new furry-friends.

The Elizabethtown Nature Park and Freeman Lake Park

The Nature Park trail is a great place for both you and your dog to get your steps in. With over 100 acres of land, a trail that goes from the park to the lake and plenty of opportunity for your buddy to roam, your dog will be practically begging to go back (it's true, they told me). Speaking of, Freeman Lake is also home to land, trails and fun! Whether your pup likes to mosey, run or be right at your hip, the trails are great places for dogs of all kinds. Let your pal be your guide through the parks for a doggy day of play.

Kick Back on a Patio!

Make your pup the DD (designated dog) and hit up Water’s Edge! Their patio is an awesome place for your dog to kick back and relax (not too shabby for you, either!) You get wine, they get to be with their best friend. It's a win-win! In addition to Water's Edge, Etown is home to multiple other patios where you can bring Rover. Impellizzeri's and JR Neighbors located Downtown both have a pet-friendly patio, along with Vibe Coffee (little hint here, grab your pal a pup cup so they can get their mid-morning pick-me-up too!) If you're in the mood for a drink, Flywheel Brewing and Revival Vintage Spirits also allow furry friends to hang out. There's nothing like a day downtown, especially with your dog by your side!
