There’s obviously something special about fall in Kentucky, but call me biased, fall in Elizabethtown is just so magical. The sights, sounds and vibes alone make this the perfect stop for you and yours. Fall in Etown is my favorite, come find out why!

Grab a Pumpkin

There is nothing that says “fall” more than a trip to a pumpkin patch. Lucky for y’all, Etown has plenty! You can hit up Mink and Walters, Hinton’s Elizabethtown Market or Thomas Dairy Farms for your pumpkin patch fix. While you’re there, you can grab fun all the fall treats, find the perfect pumpkin (this step is crucial to the ideal Etown fall, I don’t make the rules), go on a hayride and get yourself into the holiday spirit! 

Take in the Scenery

If you want to see leaves and foliage that look like they came straight from a movie, you need to go to the Nature Park and Freeman Lake Park. Obviously, these places are great for your typical park activities, but they truly look like art in the fall! Beautiful oranges and yellows paint the trees and make for a must-see stop while you’re in town.

Catch the Game

It wouldn’t be fall without catching some football, and of course, we have the best places to do it! It’s a win for everyone really, you can watch your team get the victory, or you can have a really great time with your friends and fam if your team is playing like they’re just out there to have fun (both are acceptable options). Hit up any of these places to catch the game and have a blast while you’re doing it – HubHaus, Social On Main, Impellizzeri’s, JR Neighbors or Duff’s Famous Wings. Lucky for you, football season is a long one, so you can try out each one!
