There is truly nothing like gathering with friends, and Elizabethtown is the perfect place. My friends and I love to come together for any reason really, but Friendsgiving is something we all look forward to. Nothing beats exploring fun places either, so why not combine the two?
The Food
Obviously, the best part of Friendsgiving is the food! Sure, the company is great, but let’s be real, we know what we’re all going for. Kidding! Mostly... Etown is filled with tons of great dining so I am just gonna hit some highlights that will make your friendsgiving the one everyone talks about.
Social Food Hall is a one-stop-shop for great food and great drinks! They’ve got a tap wall, a full bar, games and delicious food stalls! Even the pickiest eater will leave with a smile here. If you love the vibe of games with your dinner, check out HubHaus. This spot is super neat, they've got house-made brews, they even make their own root beer and electrolyte drinks in-house too! along with great food and arcade games. If you plan accordingly, you can also catch singo and other fun games to get a little competition going between you and your crew.
If you & your friends are more of a sophisticated type, y’all can head over to Water’s Edge Winery for wine flights, charcuterie and just an overall great place to just catch up and be together. It’s such a great spot to hang out and the vibes are just immaculate! Another wonderful local gem to check out is JR Neighbors! They’re serving up phenomenal burgers that you aren’t going to find anywhere else. The vibe here is so cozy and makes for a great spot for you and your friends to eat, drink and be merry!
The Fun
I don't know about y'all and your friends, but me & mine love a good shopping spree. Elizabethtown is shopping galore and adds a unique spin to your Friendsgiving excursion! Who says it just has to be sitting down to a meal - right? Head over to any of our local shops and get a head start on your Christmas shopping or, even better, find a little something for yourself! We've got adorable boutiques, plant shops, bookstores and so much more. I mean, what tops picking out new fits with the girls?
If you want to spice up your friendsgiving with some activity, head over to Cosmic Golf! This place has great food, which is a plus, but the real fun is all the things waiting for you inside (& outside)! Cosmic Golf has heated outdoor bays that are perfect for any season where you & your friends can order your dinner and hit some golf balls (y’all have to check it out at night… just trust me). In addition to the outdoor bays, you can try their indoor putting course that is a replica of the Augusta National Course to show off your professional prowess, and last, but certainly not least, you can even check out the indoor simulators. That’s a whole day of fun in one place!
