Elizabethtown Tourism Announces Krysta Souleyrette as New Executive Director
Elizabethtown, KY (September 8, 2026) — Elizabethtown Tourism & Convention Bureau (ETCB) is excited to announce the appointment of Krysta Souleyrette as Executive Director, following a comprehensive search process. Souleyrette, who has served as Interim Executive Director since May 2026, brings eight years of experience and a proven record of strategic leadership in destination marketing and community promotion.
Souleyrette joined ETCB in 2018 as Communications Director, where she led media relations, content strategy, and brand storytelling for the destination. In 2023, she was promoted to Director of Marketing, overseeing integrated marketing campaigns, visitor outreach, and partnership development.
“Krysta has a deep understanding of our destination, her strong relationships across the community, and her strategic vision for growth make her the ideal choice to guide our organization forward.” Said Renè Sullivan, Chair of the ETCB Commission. “We are confident in her ability to build on our momentum and elevate Elizabethtown as a premier place to visit.”
“I am incredibly honored to serve as Executive Director of Elizabethtown Tourism,” said Souleyrette. “Eight years ago, I joined this organization with a passion for telling Elizabethtown’s story and I’m excited to continue to do so in a new capacity. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to watch this community grow, work alongside incredible tourism partners and lead some amazing projects.”
Souleyrette added that the bureau’s future is one she is eager to help shape.

I’m excited to build on the strong foundation this organization has created, strengthen our partnerships and find new and creative ways to put Elizabethtown on the map.”
