If there’s one thing Etown knows how to do: it’s a parade. Light Up Etown is (in my opinion) the official kick-off to the holidays and I am here to help you plan your perfect night so you can get ready for the most wonderful time of the year, the right way! 

When & Where

In order to be there, you obviously have to know where & when to go, right? Light up Etown starts at 7pm with a parade beginning at the intersection of West Dixie Avenue and St. John Road. It goes through Downtown to the Square where the parade will end. My professional recommendation is that you arrive early to secure your spot! Another expert tip, grab a bite at Impellizzeri’s or JR Neighbors before… you’ll be able to pop right on out  to the street for the parade with a great view.

What next?

I’m glad you asked! Once the parade ends, the fun isn’t over! After Santa & his buddy Mayor Gregory (incredible duo) make it to the square, they’re going to read a story and then… drum roll please… the tree is lit for the season! The tree lighting is so magical and sets off the season in the perfect way.
