If you or someone in your crew is a history buff, Etown is the place for you. We’re filled with rich history and spring break is the perfect opportunity to check it out! Swope’s Cars of Yesteryear Museum is showing off miles of vintage cars that’ll rev up your break the right way (even better? It’s totally free). In addition to car history, local stories come to life at the Hardin County History Museum. Discover tales of Etown’s past, local heroes and even connections to Abraham Lincoln all in one place. Who said you couldn’t learn on a break?

For the Outdoor Buff

If the outdoors are where you and your crew thrive, Etown needs to be a must-do. You’ll find plenty of ways to explore and enjoy the fresh air. Looking for beautiful views? Check out Freeman Lake Park, where you can walk the scenic lakeside trail, rent a pedal boat, cast a line, or just enjoy the scenery. Nature lovers will also appreciate the Elizabethtown Nature Park. You’ll find paved paths, open green space, and areas that make it easy to spend a full afternoon outdoors. While you’re in town, you can check out our “Your Gear is Here” program, where you can grab equipment for fun from pickleball to bocce and have a break that is worth writing home over.

Looking for more fun? Tee off at Heartland Mini Golf or Cosmic Golf for a day that will be the best by par. At Heartland Mini Golf, enjoy 18 holes of fun with drinks, snacks and immaculate vibes. At Comsic Golf, you’ll find outdoor bays, indoor simulators and an indoor course that’ll knock your socks off. If the indoors are more your vibe, we’ve got you covered there too.
