Cruisin’ the Heartland
Frankfort, Kentucky, May 1, 2015 – The Kentucky Travel Industry Association has selected Cruisin’ the Heartland as part of their 2014 Summer Top Festivals & Events.
Cruisin’ the Heartland, Elizabethtown, July 24-25. Cruisin’ will be in its 6th year and attendance continues to climb! This event has been recognized by Chevy Classics Magazine as one of the top cruise-ins in the nation. However, you don’t have to be a car enthusiast to enjoy this event. Cars of all models, sizes and ages will fill the town. Come on down and enjoy the atmosphere of downtown, the food and music. Festivities start on Friday evening with a Poker Run. Gates open on Saturday to cars on display all day and a concert wrapping up the event.

A panel of impartial judges selects the Kentucky Travel Industry Association Top Festivals & Events for each season. Criteria for selection include popularity of the event, its impact on the local tourism economy as well as cultural and historical significance.
