Elizabethtown Tourism relocating brings new life to historic home
Elizabethtown Tourism & Convention Bureau (ETCB) is excited to announce its upcoming move to 201 North Main…
Why is Elizabethtown Tourism moving from near the interstate? Isn't that a higher traffic area?
Exit 94 does see a lot of cars filter through, however since the COVID-19 pandemic Elizabethtown Tourism has seen a decrease in people stopping at the visitors center. More travelers are using their GPS instead of a paper map, they can also find all the information they need about a place online. After doing some research Etown Tourism found most visitors don't stop at a welcome center and enjoy their time in and around our city. As with other industries Tourism also has to be flexible and think out of the box to capture our wonderful visitors. 201 N. Main is the perfect spot to welcome visitors and be a part of the growth that is happening in our downtown.
Doesn't Elizabethtown Tourism operate as a meeting space? What will happen to that meeting business?
The growth that has happened in Elizabethtown and Hardin County has created the presence of many other meeting facilities that are able to meet the demand for meetings in Elizabethtown. For a list of all the places for your next meeting please click here.
Will you host meetings at your new building?
We hope to partner with artists and other local creators to display their creative pieces, and will be open to the public. Any plans for meeting rentals at 201 N. Main will be announced at a later date.
