The Young Professionals Network of Hardin County recently presented its annual “Emerging Leader” award to Jessica Gowen at the Hardin County Chamber of Commerce’s luncheon.

Each quarter, the network publicly recognizes a member for their accomplishments in their chosen career field, as well as commitment and contributions to the community, by awarding them the “4 Under 40” award.

Once a member receives the “4 Under 40” award, they are eligible for the “Emerging Leader” honor, which is selected once a year by the Young Professional Advisory Council. Gowen won the third quarter “4 Under 40” award.

She became the communications director at the Elizabethtown Tourism and Convention Bureau in 2014 and served as YPN marketing chairwoman from 2015-2017.

In addition to winning the Emerging Leader award, she was named the new 2017-2018 YPN president.
